Bosch was out there, man. The Garden of Earthly Delights is probably his best work in my opinion. Some of the images in that painting make Salvador Dali look like a realist. Another one I like is The Temptation of St. Anthony. His detail and out-of-this-world imagery are just mind boggling. It’s good, I suppose, that all of his paintings were religious in nature, else he probably would have been burned at the stake for being in league with Lucifier. These two paintings are at the Museo Nacional del Prado (more commonly referred to as El Prado) in Madrid. Go see them if you’re ever there.
