Preston and Child

Douglas Preston and Lincoln Child are probably one of the best “team authors” of our time. They each publish books on their own, but I far prefer their collaborative novels. There are dozens I could mention, some a little in the supernatural/horror genre, but some that are far more in the real – the Gideon Crew books for example. Then they have the Pendergast series, which border more on the supernatural. Pendergast is a fantastic character – mysterious, logical, and a humble hero as an FBI Special Agent. My recommendation is to pick any of their books, whether it be Gideon Crew (Gideon’s Corpse recommended) or a Pendergast story (The Cabinet of Curiosities recommended), and just see what you think. They are fantastic plot developers and I love every book of theirs I read.
